Dunkirk encabeza las nominaciones a los Satellite Awards

Dunkerque (Dunkirk), la nueva película de Christopher Nolan, dominó las nominaciones a los Satellite Awards, que entrega anualmente la International Press Academy. El filme, protagonizado por Fionn Whitehead, Barry Keoghan, Harry Styles, Kenneth Branagh y Tom Hardy, obtuvo once nominaciones, incluyendo Mejor Película, Mejor Director para Nolan, Mejor Actor de Reparto para Mark Rylance, Mejor Guión Original y Mejor Fotografía.

En el conteo le siguió La Forma del Agua (The Shape of Water), una de las grandes favoritas de la temporada, con diez menciones, incluyendo Mejor Director y Mejor Guión Original para Guillermo del Toro. La cinta de Del Toro, ganadora del León de Oro del Festival de Cine de Venecia, también figura en la categoría mayor, donde compite con Llámame por tu Nombre (Call me by your Name), ¡Huye! (Get Out), God's Own Country, I, Tonya, Lady Bird, Mudbound, Un Amor Inseparable (The Big Sick), Tres Anuncios por un Crimen (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) y el filme bélico de Nolan.

Los Satellite Awards se llevarán a cabo el 10 de Febrero de 2017.
