La La Land logra trece nominaciones a los Satellite Awards

Stranger Things y Black Mirror logran nominaciones en los rubros televisivos

La La Land: Una Historia de Amor (La La Land), la nueva película de Damien Chazelle, dominó las nominaciones a los Satellite Awards, que entrega anualmente la International Press Academy. El filme protagonizado por Ryan Gosling y Emma Stone, consiguió trece menciones, incluyendo Mejor Película, Mejor Director para Chazelle, Mejor Actor para Gosling, Mejor Actriz para Stone y Mejor Guión Original. 

Hasta el Último Hombre (Hacksaw Ridge), uno de los caballos negros de la carrera al Oscar, siguió en el conteo con nueve nominaciones. El filme de Mel Gibson también figura en la categoría mayor, donde compite con Capitán Fantástico (Captain Fantastic), Fences, Figuras Ocultas (Hidden Figures), Hell or High Water, Jackie, Lion, El Matrimonio Loving (Loving), Manchester junto al Mar (Manchester by the Sea), Moonlight, Animales Nocturnos (Nocturnal Animals) y el consagrado musical de Chazelle. 

Mientras tanto, las series Stranger Things, Black Mirror, The Crown, Mr. Robot, Game of Thrones, The People v O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, The Americans, Westworld, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Orange is the New Black y Orphan Black, figuraron en los rubros televisivos.
